The Beanery was established March 4, 2005 with the intention of becoming a “gathering” place for friends and family in the Aitkin area. Our goal was to provide a comfortable, relaxing environment for guests to enjoy their favorite cup of coffee, have lunch with friends or simply to check their email. We want our guests to have a GREAT experience when they visit us! Join us Friday nights for live music, beer, wines and an evening of fun.

A shooting range for skeet, trap, sporting days & rifle.  League teams for spring, summer, fall & winter.  Year round operating hours.  Memberships available.  Non-members also welcome.  Promote youth activities & safety training.  Clubhouse on site available for use by groups & used for fundraisers for community organizations.   Located on Highway 18, 1 mile east of Highway 169 on the north side of Mille Lacs.

Family oriented classic fishing report.  Nine lakefront, self-housekeeping cabins on Spirit Lake, a part of the Ripple River chain of lakes.  Spirit Lake is spring fed, clean and clear.  Great Fishing!  Fishing boat included in rental, and hydro-bikes, peddle boat, and kayaks available at no extra charge for our guests.  There's a play area for the kids, and the swim area is sandy with a gradual dept in a marked area.  Relax by the lake for a peaceful vacation.  Please check our website for some more info and pictures.  Friendly, Clean & Fun - Bring the Family!
