Riverboat Heritage Days, scheduled for August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 2024 in Aitkin, promises a vibrant lineup of events and activities celebrating local heritage and community spirit. Here's an overview of what you can expect over this eventful weekend:
Monday, July 29th
- Start of the Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union Medallion Hunt ($500 prize!)
Thursday, August 1st
- Aitkin Historical Society Garage Sale: Aitkin County Fair Grounds, 9am-4pm
Friday, August 2nd
- Aitkin Historical Society Garage Sale: Aitkin County Fair Grounds, 9am-4pm
- Aitkin Public Library Root Beer Floats 2pm-4pm
- Rosallini Pasta Dinner AND Dump Run Registration, t-shirt, and number pick-up 5pm-7pm
Saturday, August 3rd
- The Dump Run: Quarter Marathon at 8am, 5k at 8:30am
Day of Registration begins as early as 6:30am

- Aitkin Historical Society Garage Sale: Aitkin County Fair Grounds, 9am-6pm
- Atwater GM of Aitkin Car Show 9am-1pm
- Aitkin All Starz Triple Stack Cakes and Eggs Breakfast: Aitkin Moose Lodge 8am - 10am
- Riverboat Heritage Days Vendor Fair/Craft and Drafts, 10am-5pm
- Aitkin United Methodist Church Ice Cream Social Time 1pm-4pm
- Duck Run: River View Lodge, 12pm-2pm

- Riverboat Heritage Days Parade with the theme 'Naturally Better', 3pm

- Button Drawing, Live Music, Beer Garden, Food, and a Kid's Zone located at the Showboat at the Aitkin County Fair Grounds, 4pm-9pm
Sunday, August 4th
- Aitkin Flyers Wild Rice Pancake Breakfast Fly-in and Car Show - Aitkin Airport, 8am - food is out
- Family Breakfast hosted by the Knights and Alzheimer Association. Freewill donation: St. James Catholic Church 8am - Noon
